Recently, I read [this] post on U.S.S. Caryl. It made me feel incredibly sad. I did reach out to Captain Janne & Crew asking them to consider handing the torch over to someone new to run U.S.S. Caryl. I hope that they reply. I know that U.S.S. Caryl has been a place for many Caryl fans to go to and it's the reason why many of us created Tumblr accounts in the first place. I'm wondering if U.S.S. Caryl becomes inactive, will someone else start a new Caryl Tumblr? I think it would be a a terrible travesty to let U.S.S. Caryl become inactive when so many people have invested so much time (years) and effort into it.

We should all send U.S.S. Caryl our love and warmest wishes whether it stays active or becomes inactive.

How does everyone feel? What's everyone's thoughts about U.S.S. Caryl becoming inactive?

Its a little disappointing. They were one of the first Caryl blogs I followed, and it was always fun seeing the challenges and all the positivity they shared, especially when some shippers began having worries. But I guess life comes first, and we can't expect them to keep the blog going just for us. It would have been nice to see the baton passed to another group, but I'm sure it won't be too long before another blog comes along to fill to U.S.S. Caryl shaped void in our fandom.
